Our Manaiakalani Film Festival movie!

This year, we decided to do a zumba movie. When we were filming this, we were doing zumba as a brain break or energiser activity all the time. 
We work hard, and we play hard too! We love to have a bit of fun in the classroom.

We learnt all the moves then we performed them all around our school. 

We hope you enjoy our movie and have a bit of fun with us!

    Malo Lelei Room 6, my name is Henrietta Latu and I go to a Catholic school name Saint Pius X In Auckland. Good Job, your movie that you have done with all your effort shows that when you are dancing it helps your brain to exercise.
    I have watched your movie and it told me that dancing helps your brain and how it is a fun thing to do.
    Maybe next time you guy’s could work with the filming so that it could make your movie more interesting to watch, but I think that it is great.

      Hi Chavda, we practiced everyday for around 10-15 minutes for around two weeks before the day we filmed. That way we didn't get bored of learning the same moves! Thanks for your question.

    Hi Tamaki primary! I’m Mugdha from Stonefields school! Your film about better when I’m dancing just wanted to make me dance on the seat! Your teacher choose a great soundtrack and it fits well with your performance!But all you need to improve on is the dances need to be more on time some of you are late. But the rest was awesome!       The song is called 'Better When I'm dancing' by Meghan Trainer. Thank you for your comment! Yes, some of us weren't perfect but we are only little so it is more important that we tried our best and worked together as a team. We will try even harder next time. :)

      Hi Ana, it took us only a few hours to film the whole movie. We did it all in one day as our teacher didn't have a lot of spare time to spend filming different parts everyday. Thanks for your feedback, I like that part too. It is interesting to look at instead of just watching the same background and stuff all the time.
