WALT look at our digital footprint for one school day

As part of our cybersmart studies, we are learning about our digital footprint. This week we looked at where we went on the internet in one school day, then we made a diagram to show where we went.

Water campaign!

Throughout Term 1, Room 6 has talked a lot about how important it is to drink water.

We started by investigating the uses of water,
then we looked at why water is important for your body.
See some student examples below...

We learnt more about water through this song here -

We are going to do two things to finish off our water campaign, which is 1) to make posters and put them around the school to teach others about the importance of drinking water, and 2) we are going to try and make a movie about drinking water!
Here are some photos that we have taken which will be in our movie-

This is so we can share our knowledge and passion with our school and community!

Auckland - Fun Picnic Day

"Its soooo cool!" yelled Timote. Its the coolest school day ever. The fun day was cool because we played volley, had three bouncy castles like a house, games and a slide. On the fun day I went on the slide, it was very slippery. I felt soapy because they add soap. We ate ice blocks and a sausage. It was nice. My favourite thing about the fun day was wetting all the teachers and the other students. And the last thing was making beautiful patterns like a flower.
