Loneliness

Loneliness is dark blue.
To my tongue it's sour milk that's been in the sun for days.
That stinky cheese you've had in the fridge for weeks.
A stray dog meandering down the streets.
A woman in a burning building screaming for help.
To me loneliness is horrifying.
