Science Week - Our human body video!

To finish off our human body week, we made a video to teach other people about the organs we learnt about.
Check it out!

Room 6 worked very hard throughout the week to learn about all the organs in the body and some of the systems as well. All the kids loved making their models and can't wait to take them home and use them to teach our families!

Please leave us a comment below and tell us if you learnt anything about your own body from us!

  1. Hi Room 6, wow you have learnt sooo much in just one week! I am so proud of you!
Even as an adult, I didn't even know some of those things about the body, so you have taught me as well. For example, I didn't know that the liver was so important or that its the liver that makes energy from food, I always thought it was the stomach!
Thanks for sharing your learning with everyone!

  2. Malo aupito Room 6. I really like the way you have worked very hard to study about the human body this term. I have learnt so much about the human body by watching your movie. For example, I now know the purpose of having kidneys - thank goodness I have kidneys as they help clean the blood around my body. There are so many amazing facts about the human body in this movie.

I also liked the way you used your superb summarising skills as you described the different parts of the body by using your own words and understanding.

Thank you for sharing your awesome learning Room 6. I look forward to your next class video.

  3. Fantabulous work Rm 6!
I really enjoyed learning about the Brain, Rib cage, Lungs, Heart, Stomach, Kidneys, Pancreas, Liver, Gallbladder, Muscles, Bones, Intestines and Bladder. I can tell that you did a lot of research on the systems and organs of the body. I am IMPRESSED! :)
I have always wondered what the Gallbladder does. Thanks to you, I now know that it helps to break down fat!

    WELL DONE Rm 6!

I am extremely proud of each one of you who have learnt about the functions of different parts of the body. I am sure your parents were very proud of you when you shared your learning with them.
Remember, our learning does not stop here! We have to make sure that we look after our bodies by eating healthy and drinking lots of water. Healthy bodies have healthy minds and healthy minds do lots of learning!
    Great work room 61

Fantastic Room 6 what an interesting way to learn about the body. I don't have a spleen so would like to know more about what that organ does in our body. I hope someone can help me. Thank you for sharing your learning and for being so diligent and hard working to complete this massive task. Well done! Who wants to be a Doctor or a Nurse when you grow up???
